Our mission is to improve the lives of individuals affected by autism through social education that enhances successful participation in vocational, community, and family life.
WHO WE ARE
Georgia Autism Skills for Life (GA-ASFL) was specifically created to meet the ongoing social-educational needs of adults with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) who have completed available education programs but will never complete their need and ability to grow and learn. GA-ASFL teaches social readiness skills in a research-based model that is effective and replicated.
As of today, our chapters have served more than 100 adults with autism. The chapters are led by educators, therapists, life coaches, and mentors who have spent years serving individuals with autism. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, GA-ASFL ensures that one night a week, three times a month, adults with ASD will get to participate in pleasurable, structured activities with a consistent group of knowledgeable and supportive friends.
